The book starts off with its first section providing invaluable tips on how to get your car up and ready for the drive, what essentials to pack, driving in different types of terrain and seasons, and what to do if involved in an accident.

Driving Holidays Across India It proceeds further, taking you through an exhaustive list of 23 drives covering the length and breadth of India. In fact, the information given is detailed enough to tell you even the petrol pumps, service stations, auto repair shops, dhabas, and tea stalls that you are likely to encounter along your way.

In order to make your drive more interesting from a touristic perspective, Driving Holidays Across India gives information to the traveller about the stopovers that are enroute every drive, with available hotels, places worth seeing, and other attractions being mentioned.
