Summary Of The Book
The Orient BlackSwan School Atlas (With CD-ROM) comprises the latest maps that make the world seem closer to the readers. The readers are provided detailed and recent maps of states and union territories in India, along with a map of the country, on Space Science. Additionally, this book comprises a list of satellites that have been launched since the year 1975. The readers are provided with special maps that display the country's rich cultural sites as well as those that depict drought and flood prone regions, natural disasters, and cyclonic storm paths.
In total, there are 9 chapters in this book. Some chapters include Polar Regions, Australia and Oceania, North America, Europe, and South America. The readers are also provided polar region maps that show expedition and exploration routes, along with several research stations based in the Atlantic. World maps have also been added, which display the routes of renowned adventurers and explorers, along with ones that display environmental degradation types, distribution of wildlife species, and endangered regions of heritage. This book also comprises a world map that shows the earth crust's age, tsunamis, tectonics, tropical storms, volcanic eruptions, and hot spots.
In this book, the readers are also given three dimensional histograms and pie graphs that show the latest statistical information for several states and union territories in the country. This book also comprises several maps that show the population density, and sex and literary ratio, according to the 2011 census.
The readers are given insights into the newest world statics, adding flags of newly independent countries. The Dual Index comprises approximately 9000 entries, which cover the newest changes worldwide. This book also comes with a CD-ROM.
